The Nathan Mathis Band is one of the most active gigging bands in South Texas today. Their sweet country/rock storytelling style has earned them a loyal following across the state, and their energetic heart-felt shows keeps folks coming back for more. Since forming in early 2008, the band has played for audiences all over Texas. From Austin to Laredo, from Uvalde to Port Aransas, and everywhere in-between, the band has played countless shows to countless folks. NMB has also had the great privilege to open up for such bands as the Eli Young Band, Roger Creager, Emory Quinn, Gary P Nunn, Scott Wiggins, Max Stalling, Mark McKinney Band, Jeff Griffith, Dave Finley, and The South Texas Destroyers.

The Nathan Mathis Band released their first full length studio album,
Rodeo Dreams, in 2009. The album, containing 11 original tracks, is a collection of songs that show the bands loves, sorrows, and experiences growing up in south Texas. "Rodeo Dreams" is currently available for download on itunes, rhapsody, napster, zune, as well as many other music websites. The band released a 3 song EP of brand new original music in the summer of 2012. The EP is a precursor to their full length sophomore album, due out in Fall 2012. The new 3 song EP is available for download on itunes.
